Still delayed. Some people in the pressbox believe the end of the storms is in sight. Could be 20-30 minutes away from starting back up.

They just blew the horns to allow fans back into the stadium, and the players are coming out for warmups. Game will resume at 6:15.

Bad news from Sky Blue's Twitter account.

For the TV viewers, we are unable to go back on air on the Comcast Network due to the Fox Soccer Channel agreement.

Fox Soccer has exclusive broadcasting rights for this time, so no other game can be broadcast during this time.

    Bummer

And that's how it wound up. Bummer, this, as FCGP are winning in Chicago. At least Atlanta upset Boston.

Had a blast until the end of the game... we were quiet for a few minutes after the goal, but then we got right back to it.

We thoughly enjoyed this trip !!!! but not the ride home. Would have gone to Charlie Browns if there was not a 2 hour delay... we were starving on the ride home because we did not eat at the game

Great to see faces from the Wildcat days and the ANnouncer did an excellent job - we even managed to cheer over him a few times

That was a world-class strike. Not a soft one, like Philly's been giving up lately. And Branam was solid--I almost like their defense better without Koster in there. On Philly's side, I thought the back line played pretty well, Estelle Johnson stepped up and made a couple of HUGE plays, filling in for Frida. While Philly has a lot of depth, they were lacking a certain amount of 'bite' without Seger and Frida, though Kalmari had to leave the game early for SBFC, needing stitches in her shin. It was a pretty even game, with the nod going to the team desperate for a win. They wanted it more, and did just enough to get the 'W'. I hope the Cheesesteaks can bounce back by Wednesday; what a nasty schedule, back-to-back away games with two days rest. I guess that's life in WPS...

What was kind of funny was that the vastly outnumbered handful of Philly supporters that made the trip were regularly louder than the NJ fans. Way to go! Is there a name for this group? The Cheese Whiz?

We had about 3 or four handfulls

No we do not have a name yet... It was a solid goal - no one would have stopped it. Again the rain delay and the field conditions did not favor Philly... play on turf, train on turf.... Their footing was not as good as SB (did they bring the right cleats with them or is this a training issue ?) Philly seemed to slipping so much more that SB... slick conditions do not favor a team that relies on speed and dynamic touches... passes had bad bouces to them...

refs might as well have used a coin to decide on corner VS goal kicks, they would have gotten more right.

For you who went, did Philly have a goal disallowed? I heard the ref f'd one up and disallowed a goal, possibly two???

Just watched the video highlights. Who was marking Averbuch? Looks like Nikki Krzysik lost her mark there and left Averbuch wide open. Absolutely no reason she should be wide open like that.

Saw the same thing, but also wondered where was the Philly mid who is supposed to mark Averbuch (she was no where in video that i could see). So think it took multiple mistakes from CB and MF to have her be so open (still though was a great shot by Yael).

Heard it was a 50/50 game and could have gone either way. Tough loss in the always competitive WPS league, though a tie would have clinched a playoff spot.

It could have been Dimartino who was marking her. She was the closest midfielder, but still a good 5 yards away. Anyway, its time to look ahead. Win this weekend and clinch second place and a home playoff game.
