Jesus don't tell that even Escalante was picked up by Alajuelense. He retweeted 2 tweets by them despite having no connection to the club. https://twitter.com/joseescalante20
Lmao.. Alajuelense get bought out by some Hondurans? Wtf RIP JC Garcia. Sucks to hear he passed away.
So sad to hear that JC passed away dude has been battling cancer for years, he leaves behind a wife and two children. He had so much potential, i will always remember that amazing bicycle kick goal that he had vs the USA. RIP brother
Alex Lopez will not continue with Olimpia, as of right now he has two offers abroad one from an unknown team and the other Alejuelense. He states that if if the 1st offer falls through then he will sign with Alejuelense this week. Hopefully the unknown offer is somewhere in Europe, Alex is good player and is still young (only a year older than Lozano and Najar, & younger than Quioto and Alfredo). http://www.diez.hn/liganacionaldeho...lopez-alajuelense-costa_rica-olimpia-honduras
According to Diez the other team that Alex Lopez is currently negotiating with is a Russian Team, that would be big move for him especially if it's a 1st division team and would be a way better option than going to Costa Rica.
German Mejia is currently a free Agent, maybe he should stay since he has actually gotten some good minutes last year and will more than likely continue now that Garrido is gone. The Spanish team that Cristian Calix is going on trial with is Espanyol.
This would be his third stint abroad... If this doesn't pan out he should A. Stay at Olimpia for life or B. Only move on to a big team in CR cuz he could thrive there
He would succeed at Alajuelense imo, I just don't want him to turn into another Mario Martinez so much wasted potential.
Jose Escalante signs with San Antonio FC of the USL. BREAKING: @SanAntonioFC adds midfielder @joseescalante20 on loan from Club Deportivo Olimpia. Bienvenido, Jose!! #OurClub pic.twitter.com/IQ63KjXMxs— San Antonio FC (@SanAntonioFC) January 10, 2018 Must have fallen in love with Texas, wouldn't be surprised that he is going to try to stay in the USA Leagues as long as possible in order to get a Green Card.
Diez is saying that Alex actually has 4 offers 2 European 2 CA teams Unknown Russian Team Unknown Belgian Team Alajuelense Marathon out of all those the Belgian one would be the best, i can see him Succeed in that league with a Mid-Table Team.
Carlos Pineda will stay on Loan with UPNFM, hopefully he can have a break-out season like Ariel Flores the kid is only 20 years old. Elvin Casildo the young CB from Olimpia is also being loaned to UPNFM.
Damn UPNFM even have Darwin Arita on loan from Real Espana and Elmer Guity on loan from Juticalpa. Hopefully this team can stay afloat they have ton of young talent and are actually giving them a chance, this is why our League needs to expand my dream would ultimately be a 14/16 team League.
Harold Fonseca could be landing with Real Espana, Buba replacement? Maybe he can still sign with Tenerife.
Real España have too many GKs on the books Tbh. Just signed Michel Perrello of Marathon.. On top of having Buba, Kevin y El Pipo Lopez. Harold should sign for UPN lmao. But seriously out of the big teams Real España would be the last place.. Maybe Marathon or stick with Motagua n beat Rougier again. UPN turning into a feeder team for Olimpia. They got like 6 players on loan from Olimpia. Pineda, Guity, Bengoche, Flores, and a couple others.. Funny thing is all these players had regular playing time with Olimpia when Vargas was coach.. Now they don't fit Restrepo's "plans". Foh. Btw Allan Banegas is the captain of Marathon now... He's pretty young but mature on n off the field. Would like to see him get a run out on the NT. He was part of the last Olympic process.
Motagua just fired Harolds dad and he even said that he wants to leave, Marathon imo would be the best place for him right now. I wish that Kevin Lopez would be loaned out UPN, too talented to rot on the bench and won't get much playing time because Motagua is loaded with attacking talent.
Roger Rojas and Luis Garrido debut with Alajuelense as starters, Roger Rojas scored the game winning goal.
If the Redbulls offer is real for El Lobo then I really see it tough that he takes over duties for the NT unless he's allowed to do both. At the very least Redbulls would be offering 30k for Lobo to come coach their reserves.. That's infinitely more than what FENAFUT could realistically afford. And on top of that I rather relocate my family to NY than Honduras.
Olimpia is betting everything on Rony Martinez and Diego Reyes, their team has a major overhaul. They said that they won't let Oscar Salas leave despite the coach saying that he isn't in his plans and German Mejia is still a free agent. Kevin Alvarez has yet to show up for training camp, no doubt that he wants to leave after almost getting into a fist fight with Osman Madrid. http://www.diez.hn/liganacionaldeho...usura-honduras-restrepo-osman_madrid-restrepo
don't know much about college soccer but here is Paolo Belloni's bio with Harvard, http://www.gocrimson.com/sports/msoc/2017-18/bios/belloni-urso_paolo_091b?view=career&pos=kickers I would imagine that he will stay there until he earns a degree and the register for the MLS draft, that is if the draft still exists in a few years.
Daniel Hoppert isn't with Hertha Berlins 3rd or 2nd team, until we get more info about his whereabouts i doubt that we can list him as a potential player abroad.
It doesn't really .matter. They got deeper pockets than our federation. For example a C-License coach for their U13s charges about 20-35k for s professional club.. Lobo is A Licenced... $$$$
Alex Lopez confirms that he will sign with Alajuelense. Disappointed imo I wish that our players had the same mentality of Alfredo Mejia.
Lol If Roberto Chen has a serious injury then Alex Lopez won't be signed. http://www.diez.hn/liganacionaldeho...limpia-roberto_chen-fichaje-volante-hondureño
