So the Missouri State Football Semi-finals were last night. Kansas City's Champion took on St. Louis' Metro Area Champion (DeSmet) at DeSmet's field in one semi-final. St. Louis' Champion made it close, only losing by 60 points. That's right, sixty. As a high school football game is only 32 minutes long, it means that the best team in the St. Louis area was outscored by about a point every 30 seconds on their home field. Nice job St. Louis, way to quit and roll over.

OK, apparently St. Louis can't play either code of football. KC side teams won all 5 classes in the American code of football - 3 by shutout. In the world's game, a KC side team took the state title. Way to go St. Louis! At least your city is leading in high crime stats...
But does Waynesville really classify as a St. Louis win? It's pretty much straight south of Jeff City. Any match up between a KC area school and a St. Louis area school was taken by the KC side.
