Heartbreak for our heroes in our last episode. They struggled mightily, securing a narrow advantage near the end of the encounter, re-energizing the citizens. It seemed that the once mighty heroes had finally gotten back to the ways of old. However, the minions of E.V.I.L. quickly countered, and turned their disadvantage into a rout in no time. Our yellow clad Crew couldn't regroup, and fell to defeat again. Now, once again the rival from in state comes to the fortress of our heroes. A defeat at their hands would bring a great doom will fall uopn our heroes. can they finally achieve glory?
I heard from someone, who knows someone, who is related to someone, who makes sh!t up all the time, who knows someone else; that said Porter circled this match 7 times.
And right on cue: Jacob Myers just Tweeted that Tim Bezbatchenko has given Caleb Porter....... .....wait for it........ A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE. New: #Crew96 GM Tim Bezbatchenko gave his vote of confidence in Caleb Porter and the team to turn the season around."We can't allow this period to define our season.” https://t.co/XMworl08g0— Jacob Myers (@_jcmyers) August 24, 2021 We're doomed.
Yes indeed. Nobody ever felt the need to give a vote of confidence to a guy who was doing well. It's axiomatic that the last step before.firing a coach is giving him a vote of confidence.
Could be worse… Lucas might have to fly to the other side of the country to run himself down in a Wednesday folly, only to have to come back for a derby match on Friday.
What was that famous line from McCullers to Andrulis after zippy nearly got canned from a string of bad performances? "Will you still like me if we lose?" "I'll like you but I'll miss you." or something like that.
Guys: - we have got a vote of confidence, and - kcbus indicated the firing might be warranted, which means It won't be long until it's EZRA TIME
Seattle gave Porter a vote of confidence. That makes more sense. I'm sure there is a player or two that would like to uncap about how the team is managing this stretch. Reporters have limited access due to covid guidelines
It was Clark Hunt. Team was on a losing streak. Waiting in the tunnel for TV to tell them to take the field. Andrulis found.himself standing next to Hunt and feeling nervous about his job particularly since he knew that @Ch(Elsey) and her pink slips were waiting for him. So he figured he'd make a joke: Drooler: Will you still love me if we lose? Hunt: Yes Greg, I'll still love you. I'll miss you, but I'll still love you.
Like the old Norm Macdonald joke: "In music news, #1 on the college charts this summer was Better than Ezra. Coming in at #2: Ezra."
But…but…the injuries don’t happen in practices!! (I count at least three off the top of my head—BWP during the June international window, Kitchen’s back injury, and now Molino.)
Who claimed injuries didn't happen in practice? They do. Several also happened in games. There have been more than enough injuries to satisfy both scenarios this season.
Someone listed all the in-game injuries and not the in-practice injuries. (I’m too lazy to do the search right now.) Fluke injuries in practice can and do happen. But I think the point is: why is it that so many injuries have happened this season in training? That just shouldn’t be happening. And it needs to stop. Like three injuries ago.
Is there anywhere that lists minutes missed for injury by team? I'm curious to see if we are truly hamstrung by preventable injuries or if it is something other teams are dealing with.
abnormal schedule after a abnormal season and all the International stuff , still dealing with Covid protocols …. I’m not surprised about injuries but I’m disappointed it has decimated us right after we thought we finally had a lil depth
