Whew!! I just knew it....you couldn't have possibly rooted for Pittsburgh, Atlanta and the Rangers too. No one deserves that kind of punishment.
Henri Richard was a class act. Fast and silky-smooth, a little guy who could out-finesse just about anyone. His older brother Maurice was much more than just one of the greatest players of all time. He was a guy who stood up for the second-class citizenship French-speakers faced in their home province and was one of the catalysts in the "Quiet Revolution."
Kenny Rogers. Country music crossover star and co-founder of the underrated Kenny Rogers Roasters, which spawned Kramer’s addiction.
Kenny Rogers also had some solid duet hits: "Islands in the Stream" with Dolly Parton, "What Are We Doing In Love?" with Dottie West, and "Don't Fall In Love With a Dreamer" with Kim Carnes. Back in the day when I spent a lot of time at karaoke bars, "Ruby: Don't Take Your Love to Town" was a popular choice among singers.
One of them had a major impact on music throughout the world in the 1970's, 1980's and 1990's. The other was Kenny Rogers.
Very versatile drummer, Bill Rieflin. One of the great drummers has left us: Bill Rieflin. Just 59 years old, way too young. Cancer. Played on lots of amazing albums with Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, R.E.M. and Swans. Among many others. Thanks for all the brilliant beats, rousing rhythms and inspiring music. pic.twitter.com/vo3j1Wt0fo— Peter Albrechtsen (@lydrummet) March 24, 2020
We really need a Corona infections/deaths thread that's separate from this one, so we can keep track of who has it and discuss what their position was, say, 4-6 weeks ago.
