    Not good:

Lousy evening for Young PSV. Lost at home to Jong FC Utrecht (0-2) on a very bad field. Injuries for Ledezma, Seet and Comenencia, who are probably all out for a while.

Hopefully not his knee. Regardless, it's looking like a push for the WC would come too late. The priority should be on him being 100% now and ultimately integrating into PSV's 1st team. The extension will ease the suffering some.

  6. Does he have a twitter account or facebook account? Because of European privacy rules no medical information can be disclosed unless given by Ledezma himself.

Relatively good news. They are a problem after a long layoff, but at least the knee wasn't reinjured.

More time in the treatment room, sadly, but the target is now clear. It's August, with no ifs, ands or buts.

what the hell is psv doing on a field that got 3 of their players injured in the same match?

amateur stuff from a club with such a well-known reputation and brand!

    shocking really

Superficially the pitch looks OK. Was it frozen?

    Pl@ymaker repped this.
  12. Nope. What I can think about it is the pitch was soaked. A whole lot of rain came down this week.

But it didn't seem to be cutting up.

  14. Yeah, but it still could drain alot of energy out of the players and fatigue also can make players make unfortunate moves.

Fatigue in the first minute of the second half?

  16. Well, then I don't know.
If it wasnot because of the opponent making impact contact and it wasnot because of getting stuck in the pitch with their feet then I'm out of possible explanations.

  17. Actually I didnot see the pitch being the cause of the injuries.

failure to warm up properly for the 2nd half, after becoming fatigued because he's not used to going hard even for 45, cools off during the break and pulls muscle at the restart??

muscle injuries can be an issue coming off ACL tears - think it has to do with how hard rehab is and how hard you work the muscles around your knee

And the muscles around those muscles, plus muscles in completely different areas that sometimes just don't respond well to being worked properly, no matter what was done in rehab

Do we know what the injury is, how it happened and how long he'll be out or is everything just speculation?
