No doubt about that. We can all see what Bolton thinks of him, and soon enough, this kid will be a household name in Portuguese football...

Benfica would be a perfect solution for him and us ;)

He would get playing time and we would get a striker.

    I Agree!

But Montorras and Nuno aren't doing that bad.

Nakata is a midfield playmaker..not a striker. Do not think that Vaz Te will see no time this year. In the EPL, yes it will be limited. But the early rounds of the cups will be against far weaker teams, allowing Bolton to field the players that are further down the pecking order, such as Vaz Te. If he can prove his worth in those games, he can move further up the pecking order for a regular striker spot.

If you consider 2 goals in 9 games not bad, then i guess you are right. ;)

I don't think he wants to leave the EPL anyways. Why would you?

Has Vaz Te been on Bolton's bench, or in their B team?

Well, Bolton plays tomorrow, but last wk he was on the bench, although when Borgetti returns, he might go back to the reserves.

He should go on loan to another team. That way he would get consistent playing time, Portugal needs it and he needs it. Even in another league. What's the point to say i play in the EPL, if you are on the bench or reserves?

He came on with about 15 minutes to go. Did well enough but the whole Bolton side sucked arse today.

Vaz Te did make a run and ended it with a good low left-footed shot going into the right corner, but it was nicely saved by the Everton keeper.

That's is why he should get loaned to another team that will give him the playing time. Once Borgetti comes to Bolton he will see even less time.

Although Borgetti is likely to play in the near future, lets not forget that Big Sam signed a so called world class South American striker no so long ago called.....Mario Jardel! He never did anything for Bolton, and moved on very quickly. At this stage RVT, Borgetti, Davies, Diouf, Pedersen and Johan Smith will all be fighting for a first team place.

On Sunday against Everton, we were crying out for Sam to put Ricardo on much earlier. How can Henrik Pedersen possibly be a better player that RVT?

Bolton play tomorrow night at home against Newcastle. Ricardo was not involved with the reserves yesterday, so hopefully he will get a chance. Surely he must be higher up the pecking order than Henrik.

Last game he started Pederson and Davies up front, right? No goals and some missed oppurtunities while Vaz Te had a pretty decent shot with the few minutes he got, I say give him a shot.
