The ToonArmy USA site is up and running again... ...which means one of Buff's favorite Sunderland pictures is available for posting.
I know to a certain extent you're a gadfly, but I also think that, given the difficulties Reid had signing ANYBODY, Flo at 6 mill is not such a bad deal. I think Sunderland is going to have some trouble scoring even with Flo up front and they will really be in trouble if the start assuming that the fact that Flo is tall makes him a "target forward." But Reyna has played with Tore enough to know that he can find the net with some consistency if you put the ball through at his feet. Many people like to paint Flo as a wash at Rangers, but he scored a lot of goals. He isn't really built for the SPL and could never justify 12 million, but given the options (read: none) I don't think Flo, if he can stay healthy, will prove to be a disasterous signing.

Flo fouled by Ehiogu. Reyna to take free kick... headed out for a corner. Reyna's corner punched out by Schwartzer. Boro clear, Desire-Job breaking, it's out for a throw. 21' still 1-0
