I haven't complained about Crewbasher attacking me because of some spelling errors... until now.

If that's the case, my friend, allow me to repurpose a traditional cheer from my (and Dorman's) alma mater:

********** 'EM UP! ********** 'EM UP! DC SUCKS!

ON thing, would that be sung to the tune of Out of Step by Minor Threat?

Pre-game discussion for the Crew turned to Hüsker Dü, and now it's going down the Ian MacKaye "straight edge" road... don't let us know you're into cool music, it makes the hating harder. We can discuss it Sunday. ;)

i have to applaud you on your restraint... you could have gone all out and called me Hitler, but no, you showed clear and sober judgement in your choice of vile and evil men

The only good thing ever to come out of DC. The exception that proves the rule :D

Minor Threat and Bad Brains... very good, but how about someone who didn't come out more than 20 years ago? ;)

Well, they've got the current incarnation of Bob Mould, but whether or not "Blogging Gym Rat DJ Bob" is an improvement over "Angry Methed-out Punk Bob" or "Sobering-up Chunky Alterna-pop Bob" is of...actually, considerably less discussion on the BM/HD/Sugar mailing list than baseball right now.

And I don't expect any DC punk acts to have a hit single next year about their local baseball team--speaking of which, have fun steering opposing players into that pitcher's mound next year, DCU.

Hey! You're not supposed to be helping them! :) Plus, Bob Mould came out in the late 70's.

Q And Not U and The Dismemberment Plan have some decent, intelligent music, but nothing in the same park as Minor Threat, Bad Brains and Bob Mould. Good stuff, though.

EDIT: Pints, for the sake of keeping this thread on topic out of respect for those reading this board for Rev-related discussion, I'm going to try to figure out how to set up a personal forum or something so we can bs about music. I'm leaving work now, I'll get on it asap. :)

Funny, I started to go that way, but decided to remain current.

But hey, evil is so misunderstood isn't it? You know, break a leg or two and you wear that label forever. Surely your team is hated just for being good.

    For Saturday, according to weather.com:

    Sunny

Sounds like a very nice night for soccer.
