Wrong again, or Rolfe would have been blown up for the call. Reis leaves his feet and does not make contact with the ball but clears out the forward, who also has every right to go for the ball.

Someone committed a foul. But the ref swallowed his whistle.

I'm biased, but I did feel immediately that Reis should have been whistled for a penalty there.

But that's Marrufo, for you. Bad calls for the whole family (even if you feel he got that one right).

Couple of fine saves by Reis. Thornton hasn't had much to do.

Chicago seems to be playing like the home team should.

How about you write a letter about it, I'm sure your congressman would like to hear it.

The only remotely trolling thing about my post was bringing past history into it. I am commenting on a game that I am watching that involves your team in real time. My post came right after a revs fan post stating that Reis was lucky not to draw a PK. Ya'll have a very low threshold for "trolling".

    ATTENTION CHICAGO FANS POSTING HERE:

You guys are really coming out of the woodwork, huh? Why don't you just go back and watch your team play several more games than every other team in the league.

Marufo could just as easily have called a high boot against Chicago. Once he launched himself at Reis in the air, there was no goal scoring opportunity.

MLS should refund all the ticket prices, and should have to pay us to watch this game. This is an awful display.

Latham & Riley - If we don't have anybody on the bench, can't we just play 2 men down. Watching them is making it hard to hold down dinner.

Guys, comeon. As long as they are not blatantly trolling (and trust me, they are not).. don't get up in their faces. They have a right to an opinion as well, and they add something to the discussion.

Sub out Lathum for Edozan and move Smith to the outside. It seam that Lathum is killing are attack and Smith nomrally plays well on the outside. Overall we are lucky not have have a PK called and be down 1-0 but alover we are in go postion right now. Reis man of the match so far

Did Rolfe jump? I thought he was on the group and Reis came up leading with his knee. I actually stand in the camp that it was a fair challenge. Reis could have made a bit more of an effort for the ball though.
It's pretty bad. Mark my words the goal that wins this game is going to be awful.

Fine. But they could just go to their own board.

His board (DC) is on the verge of a meltdown, so this one might be a little more comfortable for him. The fact that he isn't a Chicago fan gives him a bit of credibility: he has no reason to complain about the challenge save for the fact he didn't like it.

Pepe is playing well. Nice feeds and quicker reactions.

Riley on the left and Latham on the right now???

Gomes is not on the bench tonight, btw...

Parkhurst with a key slide tackle at the edge of the area.

    50th minute

Cancela with the shot.. not close. But the Revs are looking a bit better. Riley doesn't look as bad.

Someone bring me the head of Justin Mappe. He's great on the counter so far.

Wish Bruce had taken him as well ;)

Mappe is just eating our lunch, dinner and tommorrow's breakfast.

    Goal Fire. Much deserved.
