I sense if Griffin does one or two more challenges like that, that Joey's going to have words with him.

Dorman is Dormant so far.. I think that's the 4th pass that led to a turnover and we're only 20 minutes in.

    20' 0-0

Reis lucky not to give up a penalty as he trips up a Fire attack.

Every week your goalkeeper takes out some forward with only minimal or no play being made on the ball. The play against Eskandarian was a borderline foul and the play he just made on Chris Rolfe was pure crap (pk to be sure, and I would have blown him up for a yellow). Reis plays out of control. Too bad MLS officials don't have any guts and don't call fouls on keepers.

Game is rather wild and tightly contested. Neither team able to get much flow going with so many players out.

    Reis playing very well.
Leonard doing fine at left back

    Is Latham on the field?

27' Riley screws up a clearance and Reis has to make a great save to keep the game scoreless

This game is reminding me too much of Revs teams of yore....I can't get past 3 when counting consecutive passes.

    BTW...Chicago fans.... go away.

Wrong--- Rolfe ran into Reis who has every right to go for the ball.

Every couple of weeks you feel the need to troll in one of our PbP threads. Too bad the mods don't have any guts and don't call fouls on your posts.

No need to flame em. concentrate on the game :)

30' Fire starting to take control of this one, a lot of one way traffic at the moment

What is with Riley tonight? He's normally faster then that. Leonard is having a good game.

Smith with a bit of a run, shot well off-target.

But he's our most active offensive threat so far.

Reis comes out and gets the through ball just in the nick of time.

Twellman is never in a position to attack when he has the ball.

    You're right...I just couldn't help myself. :p

    --

Reis is looking very good tonight. Revs are playing very defensively... almost a 5-3-2 with two of the mids playing as d-mids. Conceding most of midfield.
