My Mom & my sister are going out there in a couple of weeks. What are the best Restaurants in Vegas these days? I recommended Shangahi Lilly's @ Mandalay Bay & the buffet @ the Rio. Any other suggestions?
If you like meat, try "Samba", the Brazilian steakhouse at the Mirage. One of the best meals I've ever had. You have a little icon on your table which is green on one side and red on the other. When you want more meat, turn the icon so the green side is up, they come around with skewers and slice some onto your plate. When you need time to finish your current portion of meat, turn the icon to red and they pass by your table. There were 8-9 different types of meat. I tried them all -- barely! Was stuffed afterwards, could hardly walk. For lighter meals, we liked the crepe place at Paris. I've also heard good things about the buffet at Paris but I haven't been there. I think the Rio buffet has gone downhill somewhat, it was awesome about 6-7 years ago but I tried it again a couple of years ago and it was not nearly as good.
