apparently Vergara can't touch his money due to his legal battles with his wife. The funds are coming from his son. They tried to pull out a loan but now that looks dubious. The team can't pay the bonuses and so in order to do so the team is looking to sell pretty much everyone. The team is screwed. Also apparently Pizarro doesnt want to leave but the team has said if a better offer doesnt come from a european team they will sell him anyways.

The Pizarro deal is not official yet. Which leads me to believe its more of a rumor than anything else. I'm sure there's an offer but I doubt anybody has even considered it yet. The reason I believe this is the Cheech rumor and the fact anybody with a brain knows you cannot sell the best mexican player in the league to another mexican club. Bringing in Cheech but selling Pizarro is like bringing in a Ferrari engine but selling your wheels. What's the point. Cheech needs service, needs balls to put in the back of the net. Pizarro is our main offensive player that can do that. Those 17 million wont go far in our pursuit of players. If we are lucky we get 2 players that are green for that price. We need actual refuerzos for the CWC. Nobody is talking about winning it but making the final should be our goal.
