    Dudek gets the win in Poland's 2-1 victory over Hungary. But Latvia beats Sweden to make it into the playoffs. Poland finishes Group 4 in 3rd place.

    Switzerland v Ireland

    Finnan plays the final 16 minutes for Ireland, while Henchoz comes on in stoppage time to preserve a 2-0 win for Switzerland.

    Switzerland win Group 10, while Ireland miss the playoffs as a result of Russia's 3-1 victory over Georgia.

    Riise plays 90 in Norway's 1-0 victory over Luxembourg. Norway finished third in Group 2.

    Heskey went 69 minutes and Gerrard played the full 90 in England's 0-0 draw in Turkey. Gerrard won a PK that Beckham laughably missed. England win Group 7 without a defeat.

    OK, I was wrong. I thought the tiebreaker was goal differential, but apparently it's head-to-head. Norway made it into the playoffs by virtue of their record against Romania and will have to face Spain.
