In case some of you aren't aware, there is a professional soccer team in Chicago that is in 1st place. Our Chicago Red Stars are in 1st place in the NWSL and are playing 2nd place Portland Thorns this Sunday, June 12, 5:00 at Toyota Park. Christen Press, Julie Johnston, Alyssa Naeher are all back from US National Team duty, so the Red Stars should have all their weapons available. Thorns are the Portland Timbers women's pro team which is stacked with USWNT players and international stars. Let's go out to TP this Sunday and support the women and Red Stars as they have a very good team in which should be a great game. Oh, yeah...and parking at Toyota Park for Red Stars games is FREE!
