Hey guys, I'll be visiting New York at the start of May and I see that the Red Bulls are at home to the LA Galaxy on May4th. Just wondering what the story is with tickets? Would this game be a sell out and would I be better off buying tickets in advance or would I be alright buying tickets at the stadium on the day? What's the best way to get out to the stadium from Manhattan? What are the best bars to head to pre and post match that frequented by fans? Thanks in advance.
I bet you will be able to get cheap tickets via stubhub or other online means. You also can probably buy them at the stadium or outside the stadium - I'm doubtful it will sell out, but not sure I'd recommend that. Just seems like more trouble on game day than it's worth, unless you are getting there early enough. There are a few places on the way to the stadium from Newark Penn Station - and one right outside the station (Mbellos?). In fact, you might be able to go there and pick up an extra ticket and sit with the supporters.
