Our injuries sure have made a dent, the good news is that it's only one position, Enner's absence is heartbreaking but we have done well with Caicedo and Bolanos.
Martinez will be having his most important game, I hope he's ready for it.

Quiñones foul was not that bad to be a yellow card. Come on. I think he has that reputation of fouling a lot so the ref didn't give him any chance but damn. Already with a yellow.

GOOOAALLL de Ecuador. Paredes with the assist and Caicedo with the goal. Maybe falling off the bed was goodluck. I don't know bout anyone else but I've always wanted to see Paredes score a goal for the NT

Can we get Quiñonez out of there?! He is going to get a red card if he isn't more careful!

quinonez needs to be subbed out at half, if he continues to play we will be down a man guaranteed. We cant lose focus on the defensive end. Erazo needs to drop that "El Elegante" shit with his dribbling and just get the ball out.

Quinonez needs to chill. That first foul wasn't a yellow but the second one was he got lucky.Quinonez is gonna play 15 more minutes before he's subbed and I feel like Castillo will come on instead of Cazares due to the scoreline

Perhaps Czares for Martinez? poor Martinez being lefty and playing on the right is tough for him.

I expect to see Castillo, Cazares and Yoya come in.....

Quinonez has been god awful. Those are some pretty savage fouls. Unreal how he can't manage to stay level headed on the defense. In addition, Paredes with the assist was MASSIVE...because his defense has been ghastly. We need to tighten the defense and score another because we know Uruguay doesn't kill off easily.

I expect Uruguay to come out guns blazing the first 15-20 minutes in the second half, we need to be focused from the first second, we will have spaces I hope our offense can seal this, otherwise I'm looking at the longest 45+ minutes of my life.

Tough game, Uruguay had me nervous everytime they passed the midfield.

I would like to mention WHAT A GAME Walter Ayovi had, Sanchez had a bad game because of him.

Wow, what a game! Even with the injuries, they looked so confident and scored solid goals. Now, how about the game in Venezuela....

Amazing game for Caicedo, Ayovi, Paredes, Achilier, Noboa, and Dominguez. Bolanos, Montero, Martinez solid games showed up at the right time but i wanted to see more from them. Quinonez and Erazo were slacking. Overall good game. Quinteros did well to get the team the back on his feet after the equaliser. I know that goal canceled out everything he said at half-time.

Next game we'll see Dreer start in goal, Mina in for Achilier and Castillo back along side Noboa. Ecuador made history again in that this is the first time they have won 3 consecutive games in qualifiers. Lets hope to make it 4.

Colombia bringing the fight to Chile right now a draw is favorable for us, the more ground we have over the others the better.

I think Uruguay gave us a much harder time, than both Argentina and Bolivia.. Argentina barely had any chances.. while Bolivia had almost NONE! But Uruguay seemed to have numerous chances.. especially, during the second half.. honestly the game against Argentina was a more comfortable win, compared to this one.

Is Caicedo finally maturing as a striker? I remember him and chucho missing some easy chances and diving all the time.

Not surprised, Uruguay has always been tough for us in Quito, historically they have been the most effective rival in achieving points, but hey! it's 2 in a row now.
