On some brighter news, Italians starting in Serie B is up 30% from last season to 80%. Besides Parma who only start 1.
Honestly, we shouldn't even be talking about guys like Bonaventura or Sensi. We need foresight. We need a plan and vision. That means building a younger core for 24 that is ready for 26. I get we have to qualify and all but I still think we can do it with a younger core. I'm feeling better about our central defense with the play of Bastoni, Mancini, and Scalvini as of late. No one will mistake them for Nesta, but they have personality, size, and something we can build off of. Scalvini was indeed overplayed this week but he's got talent and spirit. I love how he gets forward into a striker role when his team is down late LOL I agree Scamacca was invisible this weekend but he did get very little service. Pinamonti is a guy to watch. Remember, he's only 24. His form looks to be what it was 2 years ago. Could be a good prima punta option for us.
Yeah, there are incentives in Serie B to play young Italians. Good. We had to do something to tip the scales. That will pay off in a few years.
"Sky Sport Italia explains that Tommaso Pobega will replace Tijjani Reijnders in central midfield for Milan as Stefano Pioli wants to match Newcastle’s physicality in the middle of the park." @Rossonero23 Trust the process
Speaking of Milan.... The u19s beat Newcastle's U19s 4-0 today with 2 goals from 15 year old Francesco Camarda.
Even though he's ginger, he knows truly the only way to succeed is to keep the top of the hair frosted a la Lord Giroud and Count Theo
pobega pretty good out there. he should get more minutes now since loftus probably out. sportiello too. so now we'll have 3 italians in the 11. 4 if you include musah!
Se ogni tanto guardate il topic "*****HOT PROSPECT OF iTALY" potete sapere quali sono i giocatori più interessanti che stanno uscendo dalle nostre giocanili comunque come attaccanti dai 2006 in su abbiamo (oltre a Camarda) abbiamo : If you look at the topic "*****HOT PROSPECT OF iTALY" you can know which are the most interesting players who are coming out of our players, however as attackers from 2006 onwards we have (in addition to Camarda) we have: Ragnoli Galli(2006) Ravaglioli(2006) Mosconi(2007) Samuele Inacio(2008) Zanaga(2008) Busiello(2008)
Un altro che a me fa impazzire del Milan è MATTIA LIBERALI (2007) secondo me siamo sul livello di Pafundi come talento Another one who drives me crazy about Milan is MATTIA LIBERALI (2007) in my opinion we are on Pafundi's level in terms of talent
Hahaha Watched the match. I am seriously laughing at what I witnessed. Lazio deserved something today! Anti-football of El Cholo Simeone must be eradicated. As for Italian performances, they start their fair share. Some comments on a few of them: - Immobile was wasteful on his chance. He is a reactionary player. Not news. If he only learned to play with composure he'd have scored another 100 Goals in his career. Too late now. - Cataldi was excellent when he came on. His shot from distance earmarked for the inside of the post that was tipped wide set up the ensuing Corner Kick. He was everywhere. - Zaccagni, where was this performance in Macedonia? - Romagnoli was a stud in the back. - Sarri surprisingly started ex-Juve prospect Luca Pellegrini at terzina. I always rooted for Pellegrini and followed him when he went to Eintracht Frankfurt. Played the First Half. I didn't expect to see him today. As for Provodel, when the score was still 0-1 he produced an excellent Save. Only fitting that he drew level.
