I am really struggling with participating on this board.

I really think talking about the women either positively or negatively is a double standard because we don't do that with them men.

I mean alex morgan says they grab their junk all the time.(honestly I can't even remember the last time I saw that and especially the last time a guy did it and nobody said anything negative about it)

Let me jog your memory. It’s the last time they formed a wall.

And ar least Alex Morgan said something negative about it.

I'm pretty sure Ronaldo did it 4 months ago and that's probably what she was referencing. Amazingly I read the article on that a few minutes ago and he was actually mimicking his manager doing it.

Nobody seemed to care and bois will be bois amiright amiright?;)

So Morgan is gonna cut a 23k check and then wait to see if she is suspended or not?

he took a beating for it in the press so that cant be what she is talking about

fact is she is making it up as she goes along

its about time some of these women players put their money where their mouth is.

There's examples from not so long ago: something like a celebration like Griezmann's in the last WC final. He did get negative reactions, but mostly due to the fact that he literally held up an "L" for loser.

Oh, you must mean these, then.

    There’s at least 50 more.

Her point is that they don't get negative reactions.

Ugh. The players on the U.S. team have the courage to use their real names and stand behind their words. Even despite their anonymous critics.

Pointing out hypocrisy is not crying victim.

but if they hypocrisy doesn't exist and you are trying to use it to hide ur blame in a situation that is crying victim. taunt an opponent and they dont like it. is it a big deal? no it really isn't but if you try to defend ur actions by saying the men did something and it wasn't a big deal when in fact the men were criticized and fined means you are crying victim.

I don't think it's a big point, she chose to taunt England after scoring, some ppl dislike it, sure.

I think the word she used was "sack."

To me, it feels like they've been so insulated, for so long, they don't have a barometer. But, then, we're talking about "do you not know who I am???!!!!!"
