If I was Pellegrini, I would go out with this formation: Casillas Ramos----Albiol----Garay----Marcelo Gago----Lass Granero---------Ronaldo Benzema----Higuain Arbeloa could start instead of Ramos, and Raul/RVN instead of Higuain. I think that's it. I'll be satistified with 3+ goals scored and with Iker's clean sheet.

Why is everyone so sure Gago will start. It could be Guti. In fact I think I would rather Guti start. If bad Guti shows up that day, sub Gago in at half, but if good Guti shows up, then great. Good Guti is better than Gago imo.

Xerez has not won, has not even scored, is one of the teams that ascended to 1st division (after 50+ years), and is arguably the worst team in La liga right now. Given that Xabi will be out for villareal as well, I would rather see Guti fresh and ready for Villareal, than Gago! If there is one game where Gago can get his jinx out or at least not cause too much harm in his f-ups, is this one... I say let the guy play as long as he wants.
