Last year RM took the points with a 3-2 victory. I would sure settle for that this season.

Did robinho score 2 in that game? If he did, I'd settle for that too, and for Raul to continue his amazing scoring form.

Nah he socred one. Ruud got 2.

We have to win this game as Barca have an easy game. Villarreal have a tough game could do with them droping some points as well.

Just hope Shuster gets it right and motivates the team so we win the game.

1-0 will do me but the most important thing is the 3 points

it is very hard to get a game without sevilla scoring so...
But it is a must win.

I don't agree Achilles,if the cules loose, they have 2 hard games and we have none.they can drop points and we would be at least 4 points better.

But a win here and anything less than a cule win should kill it.

This is the revenge game of the season, considering the firestorm that erupted after the last fixture about the physical play and Diarra's flying elbows.

All eyes will probably be on Poulsen, seeing as how unnamed Real Madrid players were giving him thinly veiled threats through the papers. And now he's one of Schuster's targets. But people *should* be watching out for Keita, who was bossing the whole midfield around last time. Either way, this fixture has been exciting and goal-rich for the past two years (3-2 last year, and 4-2 in 2006 with that incredible Guti backheel to Zidane).

It would complicate things more if Villareal were to win. Nobody seems worried about them and they're only two points from the second spot and six off the lead.

I really hope Guti steps it up like he did in last years match up.

If we can't win our games at home...do you honestly believe we would be better in away matches? considering that this year our away record is pathetic.

Last season our away record was better than our home record.

I do agree that this game is important, but Its no way crucial.Even if we do lose this match-We can still win the League. But,we would we making it so hard for ourselves.Psychologically, this game is huge.

Let me get this right, so if we lose against Sevilla, it's GAME OVER for us. So we might as well forget about playing the rest of the games because its already GAME OVER

I don't think a shrunk lead = GAME OVER. It makes it a hell lot harder. But it's by no means impossible. This is football, anythings possible.

I never said it was game over. You're putting words in my mouth. I said it would complicate things more. :)

I was nearly crying when i saw pepe is out:(

Well this game is a must win as Barca have won the game just 1 point now form 8 thats real bad.

Man i just hope we can win. I am off to church in the morning.

I think he (Shuster) just has to play this team:

    ------------Casillas----------------
    Ramos--Cannavaro--Henize--Marcelo
    -----------Diarra------------------
    Sneijder---------------------Robben
    ------------Guti--------------------
    ----------------------Robinho------
    -------Raul------------------------

I think the above will work well.

Please please god we have to win this one.

Hala Madird. I will play El Himno twice before the game starts fro some luck.:D
