Fede MOTM for me. Kroos looked solid. Militao was a rock and decent outings from Modric/Dani/Alaba/Case Hot and cold from Benz, but the finish was what makes him special. Mendy was pretty bad and Vinny slightly ahead of him but pretty poor as well. We looked like a team that needs to pick up the intensity and needs to get ready for the league.

If Ancelotti can convince Alaba to play on the left, everything will be great. In his book, he talked about how good he was at convincing his players to do things for the better of the team.
I know Frankfurt is mediocre but I thought we looked very strong today especially the first XI. Kroos Militao and Valverde were immense. Rodrygo’s showing was not great IMO, but did anyone else feel like he looked a little more explosive? Nice way to start the season.
True. I've noticed an extra gear in Rodrygo since the first two pre-season games. Looks like he's been putting in the gym work. Looks stronger with a quicker acceleration. This is good!
