The only player I think ZZ is clear in not wanting to use is, of course, Mariano, I think every other player we have will get as much minutes as the situation allows considering we are playing to win trophies and continuity is a big part of winning, I do think ZZ trusts some more than others but I don’t think other than Mariano he has intentionally discarded any member of the squad as not usable in some form or the other, as for the game as per usual let’s win the game and get the points
Considering 4 mids set-up is likely today, i would consider Jović with Benzema up-top. Then for second half, some Vin and Rodrygo magic.
Courtois - Mendy - Ramos - Varane - Carvajal - Valverde - Modric - Kroos - Isco - Benzema - Rodrygo. I heard Ramos picked up an injury. Replace him with Militao if it’s serious.
I would slot Modric instead of Isco in 4 man midfield, but I have a feeling we will go with 3 with Valverde or Kroos as a CDM.
We only have 4 midfielders available for this game so if it's a 4 man midfield all of them will play .
I don't even think Benz would mind (he's cool like that) but Zidane isn't subscribing to any theories where Karim is anything other than the undisputed starting CF.
Exactly, it feels like he’s been injured for such a long time from something which wasn’t meant to be serious at first at all. Hope he gets back soon because he’d be a dangerous asset in the league. Especially in the narrow midfield.
I wouldn’t mind seeing both Benz and Jovic in this one if we’re running the 4 man midfield. Benz occupies wide spaces all the time anyway
Benz Jovic wouldn't be a bad idea I think. Problem is putting Jovic on games away from home with less regular players alongside him. The guy needs good service.
