Well, the rapids did what they do best. Make 11 guys look like 12, and 10 guys look like 11. Man we stink in general this year, but particularly on the road. We have no creativity in the middle. Rubio does what he can, but every time we had the ball tonight (especially after going up a man) the ball was just cycled sideline to sideline or pumped long and hopeful over the top. It’s so simple to defend. So. Simple. And all the players we missed tonight - who of them would’ve been a creative guy in the middle? None. I know the saying is to “let Padraig cook.” Well, whatever he’s cooking isn’t smelling good right now. This team needs some seasoning. And quick. At this point, do we even really want to be in the playoffs and just embarrass ourselves further? Even in the long shot of making the playoffs it’s basically guaranteed to be a road game lol
Can we made some goddamn signings, please? We have zero depth. Quite honesty some in our starting XI should be our depth and should replaced by higher quality players. This Ballin’ on a budget. money ball crap has to go. Results like tonight just show how most clubs have ulgraded to MLS 3.0 and we’re stuck on MLS 2.0. Poor decisions on the ball, little movement off the ball, no sense of urgency, horrible defensive shape, the list goes on and on…..
