I really want Shinyashiki to do well. But he’s looked rough tonight, and last game too. With how open this game is looking I would’ve rather have kept Lewis’s speed on the field instead of Shinyashiki’s. There’s a bit of a gap between the quickness of the two players
Certainly was questionable the way it moved the offside line to the goal. And your prediction is now 'golden'.
Prove me wrong one more time tonight! Please Shinny! Prove me wrong again! What a buildup, what a goal
It sure is nice to see a Rapids team that can move the ball around the other team's box and create chances. Much better than previous teams
Disappointing to lose, but that was miles ahead of Saturday. Maybe we can grab some points in the next 3.
They deserved better. But a bad turnover for goal one and an own goal for the second. That’s soccer sometimes.
3 games left: Seattle @Portland @houston We probably need 4 points from those games. 3 points would put us really on the borderline as far as the playoffs go. 5 would just about clinch it. Tie Seattle on Sunday at home, say f-it in Portland, then get the win in Houston?
Plus they will probably squeeze in another game or two during the international break before decision day. I’ve heard rumors as such
They keep talking about that, but we're getting to the point where they need to announce it or its not going to happen. Not fair to teams to not know how many games are left going into what they think is the final week of the season.

Agreed. It was a bit shocking the difference in the way this match began compared to Saturday night. It was really pleasing to see the response by the team. The issue was not scoring early in the match when they were dominant. That allowed the Loons to get their confidence back and made it much more difficult for the Rapids to make a go or it. It seemed that at times they were just a touch or so away from creating a quality chance. So they were still a bit rusty. Still, I was really pleased to see the Burgundy boys play with passion and pride for a good portion of the match. If Acosta and Galván can come back soon it will make a difference.
With the other results tonight we need 5 points in the last 3 games to be guaranteed a playoff spot on PPG at the end of Decision Day. 4 will probably be enough but we need Vancouver to dump points to be sure (SJ and FSL drawing a game would be good too).
