I totally forget the Rapids had a match tonight until I got a notification from my calendar. That's what happens with the craziness of teaching online. The side for tonight's clash with @MNUFC.#MINvCOL | #Rapids96— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) October 28, 2020 Very similar starting lineup to last match with the exception of Lewis - IIRC. No Galván in the 18. Looks like some ⚽️ weather to us, @MNUFC.#MINvCOL | @9NEWS pic.twitter.com/5KyyKW87nM— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) October 28, 2020 I think predicting a win would be going way out on a limb. It's just asking too much with all the missed time on the pitch both for matches and in training.
Hopefully Bassett will play a bigger role. He and Lewis hook up for a goal. Looks bleak for a result.
Over/under 7. How many times do you think the MNUFC announcers either mess up a rapids player’s name, think a call should’ve gone the other way (even though it was correct) or completely show their homer announcer status?
I predicted a 1-1 draw. Acosta is battling injury per Burgundy Wave. Apparently Minnesota reported a positive test today but the game was declared safe to go on.
Minnesota United announcers mentioned that Namli's old team, Krasnodar, lost to Chelsea in the Champions League today. Its something to remember when thinking about Namli, that he chose to come here over staying with an CL team.
Did the announcer mention Pulisic punished Krasnodar by drawing a penalty, racking up a hockey assist, and scoring a goal in his 20 minutes on the pitch?
The goal was all on a bad giveaway by Bassett and Vines being caught upfield when it happened. Live by the kids, die by the kids. Danny Wilson actually was making the right move to cover his man. It left a hole that should have been filled by Vines.
Went back in disbelief to see if the foul throw really was and it wasn't. Ball was long gone before the foot came up. That and I want a 'coral' GK jersey (but maybe not a Rapids one) are my first half impressions what more can I see this half? Hopefully a Rapids goal to make the 1 - 1 prediction come true? Forgot the 'Chelo's Youth Coaching TipTM "When you head it clear it always has to go high and wide". Except when it doesn't like when you have an unmarked man making a run -- he's always going love making that effort/run to watch the ball go out for the other team's throw in.
Is it just me or does our attack look like it’s taking a lot of hard work and effort, but Minnesota’s attack looks a lot more free flowing and relaxed
