Sam Vines gets the ironman award for playing every minute of the season, now that we've used up all our subs
Got to give the boys credit. After all the Covid, I was saying to move on to next season. But they finished strong, playing some of the best soccer I’ve seen from them in years. Well done.
With the review for the Houston offside goal, lots of subs, etc. I thought 5 min. of stoppage might be more like it instead of 3 but when 3 was enough (just) oddly I no longer wanted 5.
What a counter for the winner! Bassett made a contribution at the key moment. And what a wonderful, angled run by Rubio to get behind and a very calm finish. He's worked so hard since Kamara was traded. Got to be honest, Houston was the better side for much of the match and in particular the second half. Rapids for the most part were a step behind the Dynamo. But they never gave up.
