Here it is boys! Set to be unveiled tonight: Like the top itself but not digging the crest. Much like our former alternate kit, the red inside the blue just doesn't work. Took hard to see, IMO. The crest would look sooooooooo much better if it was yellow inside the blue and the outside of the crest was outlined in red.
Yeah, that crest kills it. Otherwise I'm meh about it. Much better than the flag kit but still doesn't scream "Rapids" to me.
Eh. Not awful, but nothing I want to wear either. Boring? Doesn't scream Rapids either. I sincerely hope Adidas doesn't get the next MLS contract, I'm really getting tired of their "style". edit.. I really liked the word really...
Not really. I got the last one. This one,... the only thing Colorado in this one is all the bicyclists I pass on my way up the hill to work.
I actually like the previous secondary kit more. This one has too much yellow/gold for me. But I'll reserve judgment until I see them on the tube Saturday.
I am positive this one will never grow on me and I will forever be confused tuning into away games and thinking some other match is on.
Slight difference with the authentic kit. A little red accent on the V-neck collar, the watermarked "C", state flag and "5280" previously seen on the former alternate shirt.
I don't like these shirts. For me: powder blue kit->white kit w/burgundy sleeves ->flag kit -> ->-> these. Though the first 3 are all pretty close for me.
I kind of like the jersey. It's distinctive. If it had a cool sponsor, I'd think about getting one. As is, looks a bit like a training shirt.
Isn't there a team from Ohio that wears yellow, and Mexico, and Arsenal away, and ... referees & goalkeepers? Not a fan, don't think they'll grow on me, if I bought one it would be to put my referee badge over the Rapids shield and wear it for U-little recreational matches.
Agree about the crest. Terrible. That said, I would do the crest with white, instead of yellow, inside the blue (essentially changing the burgundy in the current crest for blue). Overall I don't have any issues with the shirt itself. I'll reserve judgement on the full kit until we see the color(s) they pair it with on the shorts/socks.
While I don't like the crest, I have to say the full kit looks quite nice. The look is very clean and the color scheme from yellow-to-blue-to-blue flows well. Red numbers on the back would look slick, too, but it appears blue will be the color. With that said, the Rapids should pull a Club Tijuana and make it mandatory the players to wear red boots with this kit. Well........because red boots are always a favorite!

Don't google "Brazilian" at work but that's what the yellow and blue look like (as if) ... well their 2014 jerseys anyway.
The blue on the socks doesn't match the blue on the shorts. Agree with Bridgeman. Either gold socks, or (my preference) white socks. Any Photoshop pros around here?
Think that is an optical illusion, shorts are pure blue but stripes in Socks make our eyes think it's a different shade.

Really?? So our jersey doesn't surpass the CreamSicle Dynamo, golf plaid Sporting KC, let's just thrown some green on it Revolution, and we have a perforated piece of toilet paper on the front Union jerseys. Man, you are one tough dude to impress!
