Here's a pre-match report before tomorrow's second leg UEFA Cup game between Rapid & Nürnberg:

“Nu va fi un meci de 3-3 sau 4-4”
    [03.10.2007]

Btw: Click on the audio links in order to hear my Transilvanian friend Hans Schuller (we have played football together), a big FCN fan, presenting Romania and Bucharest to the fans. ;)

Just wonder why he is called a "Romanian living in Nürnberg" on the 1. FCN homepage ... since he isn't Romanian but Saxonian.

Well, it seems you might have been wrong...

I'm sorry for @ C3sar and all the other Rapid fans, since Nürnberg was the luckier team in the end. Rapid missed 6-7 good opportunities, whereas 1.FCN converted 2 out of 3 chances (in Bundesliga they missed plenties of best chances in most of the games).

I think that the goalie Blazek and my former Borussia darling Peer Kluge decided the game for Nürnberg.

    Noapte buna.

    PS: Great atmosphere at Giulesti!

Rapid lost the qualification due to the fact they wasted so many chances of scoring. And since the football is played on goals, Nurnberg qualified.

After the match, Cristiano Bergodi anounced his resignation.

That's good news for Rapid, I think. Should raise your mood again after the disappointment against Nürnberg...

Btw: Did you meet a few Nürnberg fans before or after the game? And did you take some pics?

    Noapte buna.

PS: Bozovic is a grenade! Take care of him ... since I can imagine that some BL club managers might have put him on their buying list.

Yeah, the fans of the 2 teams had a brief encounter before the match. The Nurnberg fans threw some beer bottles in the Rapid fans but they were separated by the police and the incident didn't degenerate.

Mircea Rednic is the most likely to succed Bergodi as Rapid's coach.

Bergodi, care a avut parte de tot sprijinul conducerii în perioada în care a antrenat Rapidul, nu s-a aflat la prima tentativă de a renunţa. Anterior, el mai anunţase de alte trei ori că pleacă, invocând diferite motive.

So what sort of "diferite motive" did he have? Really strange decision ... since he had announced to fulfill his contract with Rapid some days ago.

He said someone from the club was always against him. He didn't mention a name.

Thanx for the info. It seems that Rapid is getting the same chaos like Steaua...

Becali=Copos ??? I wonder why Lucescu & Bergodi left the club voluntarily...

    Pity for the fans.

Btw: Why doesn't @ C3sar post anymore?

Yeah, right! If the team will play well with Rednic on the bench, the results will come and the fans will change their atitude towards him.

What a relief to see you are still alive! ;) Why don't you post anymore?

Please tell me what you think about Bergodi's retirement and Rednic's contract with Rapid.
