[MS]NBC? Not at all. They actually tried to crush Farrow's reporting on Weinstein. They also quashed an internal report on Lauer, as well as tried to (and did for a while) hide the accusations and payout against him. It goes to the head of the news division. This is why I don't listen/read anything from NBC networks involving sex allegations or sex crimes.
IIRC, at that time, CBS had a shit head of news as well, or something like that, and the current guy at NBC rises to the levels even above him. I would dare to say the current NBC guy (damn, I'm gonna have to look him up) hates women. Noah Oppenheim, that is the guy, and he took over in 2017.
And now FOX again! It doesn’t expound on why Carlson and Hannity are named other than harassment. Ex-Fox News Star Ed Henry Accused of Rape in Brutal New Lawsuit Richard Drew/AP A former Fox News reporter and associate producer, along with a frequent guest on the network, have leveled brutal and disturbing sexual-assault allegations against former host Ed Henry as well as harassment allegations against current on-air talent like hosts Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, and Howard Kurtz. https://www.thedailybeast.com/ex-fox-news-star-ed-henry-accused-of-rape-in-brutal-new-lawsuit

So someone has some explaining to do Newly unsealed #GhislaineMaxwell documents claim @AlanDersh got Epstein a sweetheart plea deal in order to gain immunity for himself against allegations that he raped an underaged girl "numerous" times in New York, Florida, New Mexico, U.S. Virgin Islands and on airplanes. https://t.co/djRnDSqIsP— Chris Sommerfeldt (@C_Sommerfeldt) July 31, 2020
Pretty much so. He tweeted that he hopes Epstein recorded videos because it will prove that he wasn't involved.
Daisy Coleman, a high-school sexual assault survivor whose story was shared in the film @AudrieandDaisy, died by suicide last night. Her mom wrote, "She never recovered from what those boys did to her." RIP @daisy_coleman #fordaisy— Laura Barcella (@laurabarcella) August 5, 2020 That poor family had already lost another child to a traffic accident.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-55307723 A lawyer representing 57 women...have filed a lawsuit...claiming sexual abuse Epstein, right? Nope.
This smaller-time Hollywood producer was up to some F'd up Weinstein-like acts and is now locked up in CA. He also went to my HS. https://variety.com/2020/film/news/...d-sexual-assault-1234818479/#article-comments
such an idiot: https://www.democratandchronicle.co...-cuomo/4576012001/?utm_campaign=snd-autopilot Ex-aide accuses Andrew Cuomo of unwanted kiss, sexual harassment
There are two here: Andrew Cuomo https://www.cnn.com/2021/03/01/politics/letitia-james-andrew-cuomo-investigaation/index.html The fallout from two sexual harassment allegations against Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo escalated again on Monday, as New York Attorney General Letitia James announced she could move forward with an independent investigation on the same day one of Cuomo's accusers cast him as an abuser who "wields his power to avoid justice." And then there is Madison Cawthorn in NC. https://www.cnn.com/2021/03/01/politics/madison-cawthorn-sexual-misconduct-allegations/index.html The women alleging misconduct against the congressman are former classmates of his at Patrick Henry College in Virginia. Cawthorn attended the private Christian school for a short time in 2016 before dropping out, and it was during that time that the women say he made unwanted advances on them. "His MO was to take vulnerable women out on these rides with him in the car, and to make advances," Caitlin Coulter, one of Cawthorn's former classmates, told CNN in an interview. Coulter said she was taken on something Cawthorn called a "fun drive," where he asked about her purity ring and her sexual experiences. She says she felt something was off and shut down the conversation.
Say what? Lawyers for Harvey Weinstein have filed an appeal asking for a New York court to reverse his sex crimes convictions and grant him a new trial https://t.co/1P0rQPKUsG— CNN (@CNN) April 5, 2021
What’s the problem? He has the right to file an appeal. Let’s save the freak out for when he wins a new trial.
Coming from a head of state: how interesting... Prime Minister Imran Khan of Pakistan blamed a rise in rape cases on how women dressed. "Not every man has willpower. If you keep on increasing vulgarity, it will have consequences,” he said. https://t.co/0yYNkWYofj— The New York Times (@nytimes) April 8, 2021
You're completely mistaken. No one is freaking out and while he does have the right to an appeal, I still really hope and am fairly confident he'll finish his days behind bars. The reason behind the appeal is what caused my reaction: just reeks of desperation (which to be expected, I suppose). But sure why not? Let's just thru all this BS one more time: the facts won't change and as long as the verdict is the same, then it's all good I suppose...
