Right back was the most common position Rayna played while at Rangers. But in the SPL, that's almost exclusively an attacking position.

No, this is wrong. Reyna was primarily an attacking midfielder, often playing in the center, and sometimes the right side of midfield. Reyna did play right back for a period when Rangers were short on players due to injuries, but this was by no means the majority of his time there. Reyna scored several goals as an attacking mid, especially during his first year and the UEFA Cup campaign. BigSoccer folklore and even some of the American media have portrayed him as playing right back all the time.
