You will find raw leather throughout the map, by killing animals, or by buying it from stores. That is what I've spent most of my silver on, buying leather and ore.
@Belgian guy The first reviews indicate Cyberpunk 2077 is very buggy at launch. So now you have to balance the danger of getting spoilered vs. a subpar experience day 1.
I envy the people who can wait for Cyberpunk to fix all it's bugs. They'll get a much better game. I can't bring myself to do it though, I've waited so long. I'm gonna jump in and hope that I experience Bethesda like glitches that provide small laughs, and not game or quest breaking ones. I'm a bit concerned that reviewers haven't had a chance to look at the console versions yet.
I started playing "Hades". I understand why some people call it their game of the year. It's an incredibly addictive rogue-like fantasy hack and slay game with item-hunt, a rich and compelling world and nice boss fights. My only complaint is that there's sometimes too much going on during fights so you miss the visual clues in boss fights to avoid their attacks. I started a week ago and am currently trying to beat the final boss.
The complaint about 'too much going on' is common in ESO, particularly in the more difficult dungeons and Trials. They also have added complications involving the 'mechanics', i.e.the boss will do this or that and then something else will happen, sometimes on a timer or when the boss, (or 'adds'), do something else.
Yeah I remember that problem from my World of Warcraft days and I assume it's not getting any better as the graphic fidelity of video games increases even further.
I never played WoW, tbh, but ESO can get pretty bloody complicated, that's for sure... That's for only 4 players but with 12 people it can get even worse...
I'm currently playing the Mafia 1 Remake. It's ********ing fantastic. If you like good mafia movies and enjoy solid 3rd person action in a strongly narrated game with good graphics then I can't recommend it enough.
Finally started Death Stranding. It's really a unique game I have to say. Not quite sure yet whether I actually like it or not, but so far so good. Definitely intruiging and something different.
Death Stranding is ahead of its time. I believe its a game that may have another level of appreciation in the future.
Been doing a lot of "retro gaming" on my old PCs with super old FIFAs and World Cups. World Cup '98 has to be one of the hardest soccer games to defend on World Class difficulty setting. ( I always knew that but playing it again after a few years hiatus it has reinforced that premise.) Every player the CPU controls plays like Maradona in his prime and it is annoying... .... but still fun to relive the nostalgia...
Dead Space getting another entry? Third game was the weakest of the three but enough time has passed that they might have found a new angle. Though obviously it will be a whole new team who works on it since Visceral games no longer exists.
I always found it funny that a series that was so obviously inspired by Alien essentially also followed the Alien franchise in the respective quality of each entry. Alien/Dead Space - first one and best of the three, terrific all around Aliens/Dead Space II - different in many ways but still very good Alien III/Dead Space III - underwhelming and disappointing
Imo the best sci fi horror video game franchise of all time. Dead Space 2 is my favorite. What happened to the team of Visceral was a crime and travesty.
I am finally in a mood for some video games again. I played the Resident Evil 2 Remake a year ago and tackled the RE3 remake for the last few days. The game is not very long and it doesn't have the same genius psychological horror scenarios from the previous game, it's more action-focused, but I had a good time. For 20€ or something along those lines worth picking up.
I picked up Death Stranding again. I forced my way through the tedious first few hours and now it's an enjoyable game so far. The story is a bit wonky as expected but so far so good.
Looks a bit like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice…. which means it looks damn good. Got my hopes up until I saw it isn’t available on the PC…
My 2021 video game output of games I completed was very pitiful...Half of them are 2020 titles I was too lazy to play the year before... Hades (it's a masterpiece and I sunk 80% of my time into it) Mafia I Remake (very good game) Resident Evil 3 Remake (it was okay) Death Stranding (I had a surprisingly good time with this) Nothing else unless I forgot a game.
