Re: Chicago Attendance Disaster Deepens Columbus is a frustrated market. Greg Andrulis is killing the team, which couldn't score in Amsterdam with $1000. The fans want him on the first bus out of town, and HSG is doing nothing about that. Even the casual fans who only go once or twice a year are starting to talk about Andrulis being a detriment. It's not just the Internet hotheads on bigsoccer.com, like some in the Crew FO want people to believe. The message that gets sent is: If HSG doesn't care about this team, why should anyone else? Fire Andrulis and attendance will bounce back.
Don't waste your time JasonC, the idiot has been told this several times and he's been shown attendace data that shows once the Crew fix the problems wrong with the team there is a precedent for attendace to rebound. He chooses to ignore it because ignoring the facts fits his chicken little theory.

This is nothing to be concern about. Just wait until you get your very own stadium. Not only attendance will go up but moral as well. Just look LA. Our team now sucks and people still are flocking to the stadium. Unless you get a crapy stadium where no one wanst to be in. In LA, I think, that a lot people go to the game because visiting HDC is just half the fun. And if you add top-notch Barras like LARS. No need to say more! Just give it time.
