I was at the Apple Store tonight for the first time and, let me tell you, that store rocks. I can't believe I hadn't gone there before. The genius bar is cool, nothing I can't handle, but the 17" iMac is just brilliant. It is a wide screen 17" so you get TONS of horizontal space.

Oh, and my thumb keeps twitching making it really weird to type...

I turned on Speech recognition on my computer and really makes using the computer more fun. I can switch explorer windows by just saying "next window" or quiting applications by just saying "quit." Not bad at all.

I just wish I felt better...

I'm incredibly tired now. Mentally and physically.

I am in a PIB English class. But this book is for AP European History. The weather's too nice. I can't concentrate.

An old Performa 6400 that I tried to load OS 8 on when it first came out. I was never successful. It's old and slow if I can ever get the OS loaded.

 

What's this about?

Was there a run-in at the Brit with football guys that I missed? I never understood the us-and-them mentality, since I played both as a kid.

A run-in with ultimate fighting guys would suck, though. There are no UFC champions living in the Bay Area. If someone told you they are, they're lying. There is ONE previous champ, Frank Shamrock, who lives and trains around SJ. I've worked out at his school a couple times. There is a former SJSU football player, Paul Varelans, who did okay in UFC but I don't think had a winning record when he quit. And another local guy, Brian Johnston, from San Jose Academy, did pretty well in UFC but became a pro wrestler in Japan instead...he had a stroke at age 27 last year and is recovering slowly.

Well, I'd go to the Brit today but we live by Shoreline and are heading straight over after the game to see Skynyrd...Tom--that's the reason I couldn't go to Slayer!

I think I gave people a reason NOT to see Austin Powers.

and because of some project I've been called to do, I have to wait here instead of heading down to San Jose... darn! I'm in the same boat buddy, though right now I have to face the irk of everyone else...
