For lack of a better place to put this... On the latest Arseblog Arsecast, Andrew confirmed the final amount that he could donate to Unicef from the April "fund raiser" was 35000 Euros. This is to help children in war crisis zones. He said that was made up by all of the Patreon subscriptions Arseblog received for April, plus James donated his April salary which he gets from Arseblog, and then Andrew rounded the number up a bit. So I did some rough guessing, and even if James' salary is 4K/mo, which honestly I'd be surprised if it was that high, that leaves roughly 30K for subscriptions, which at 5 Euros/mo, means ~6000 subscriptions. That's not a bad little business model he's built there. Plus he still gets some advertiser/sponsor revenue, although he's indicated that he's trying to get away from that. Well done Andrew. And well done for the 35K donation. ArsenalVision had their own "sister donation" which I think might've been even bigger (I just can't recall their amount)... kudos to Elliot on that too... I think he may have been the driving force for both podcasts doing this.
If you want to get mad 🇫🇷 Ludovic Guily then rolled the ball home but referee Hauge elected to send off the Arsenal stopper instead - a decision he later revealed could have been made differently.https://t.co/WadOCSPCF5— Irish Daily Mirror (@IrishMirror) May 17, 2022
Why are these retired cunty refs coming out and just ruining their reputations further with this bullshit? First the ref from the farcical Barca/Chelsea match, and now this half wit from the Arse/Barse match.
Now he needs to step up to the next level, and make us proud in our new #11. Same goes for our current #10 frankly. And whoever might become our new #9. If we had potent and reliable goal scorers and creators at 9/10/11 we would've secured Top 4 a while ago. Instead that has just about slipped through our fingers.
A decent striker probably gets us third. We would have turned a few of those losses to draws, and a few of our draws into wins. Still think the games where we got spanked 3-0 or above stay the same, but a ton of other results change with just 1 decent striker. Let alone 2.
That would be mighty cool. But I won't hold my breath. For example, if UEFA was feeling kind (towards Chelsea... and FA?) they could give a bit more grace period to allow the ownership xfer to finish? Or if they didn't relax the deadline, this might just be the kind of impetus that lights a fire under their butts to finish the deal in time? Not holdin my breath but...
Read an article that the deal should be completed in the next 24 hours. PL already approved the new ownership today.
Yeah, that seemed the likely outcome. And AfcVIP49 (whoever the hell they are) was just doing some really wishful thinking! Reminds me of mega transfer rumor hopes.
To provide context, the ref said this like a day after the match. The tabloids just like bringing it up as if it’s news for the clicks
The EPL fixtures were announced, and for the second straight year we’ll be the opening match. Let’s just pray that we do a better job against Palace than we did at Brentford last August!
Just heard “stat“ from Adrian Clarke that made me smile: Arsenal have never won a Premier league title without DB10.

His pro lacrosse team just won a championship as well. Arsenal is the only of his teams that have yet to win under his watch. May explain the extra backing.
The Nuggets have the talent to win a championship if they could get Murray and Porter healthy, but that might be a big if. Selfishly, I'd also like to see Stan and Josh pump some NIL money into their alma mater and try to win a championship there, but that's an even bigger mountain to climb.
Missouri? In football? Yeah, that would take an awful lot of money to overcome the perennial powers in the SEC. Go Dawgs!
I guess I meant football but I'd take a national championship in any sport, wrestling, gymnastics, women's golf, whatever. Amazing season for your Dawgs this year, that defense was insane. I considered our game a success because they avoided the shutout.
