Kool Herc- Thanks, we are accustomed to unreliable reports :) This is better than nothing.

I missed the announcement last Thursday that Ramon's trial had been extended another few days and that announcement would be made on him early this week. We should hear something in the next day or two. Fingers crossed, hope we sign him.

Rumor that someone on a message board spoke with him last Saturday at the Millwall match and he was confident of a deal going through. From a not very trustworthy forum though so take it for what its worth.

Thanks Herc. Not a huge endorsement to say he is 'okay'...but he must be doing better than that if they have twice extended his trial.

The host of Yorkshire Radio and Leeds play-by-play commentator Thom Kirwin has posted on twitter that Nunez "has impressed" during his time at Leeds.

Speculation is mounting that Nunez is going to sign but is waiting for international clearance and work permits before anything is announced.

Someone a Leeds forum is saying he's been told international clearance has been delayed by a national holiday in Honduras??

Sorry, but Beckford came from the Chelsea Youth Academy. Also I believe the best Youth system belongs to West Ham. Frank Lampard, The Ferdinand Bros., Jermain DeFoe, Glenn Johnson & the list goes on.

yea but apparently he wasn't nurtured and developed at Chelsea the right way..if so he wouldn't of played in the flashing lights of...Wealdstone and Uxbridge :/

If it wasn't for Leeds..he wouldn't be where he is now.

and I think West Ham is first...but not much difference. both still churn out players yearly.

Jermaine Beckford was fixing windscreens for the RAC when Leeds signed him.

Word is that his contract goes until January -- seems to be like a "prove it" deal for Ramon to see how he does when he gets in a game and how he can adapt to the Championship. Shorter deal then I would have expected but it seems it has been standard operating procedure for Leeds to sign trialists to no more then one year contracts.
