I'll use this thread to keep you bigsoccer-ites up to date as best I can on what the Mob is up to this season. For starters, we've just announced some sweet new perks for our paid members who are also season ticket holders: http://www.ralphsmob.com/profiles/b...ob-members-50-rowdies-jers?xg_source=activity
Thanks! And props to the front office for working with us to provide some more perks to our members. more good stuff to come, so stay tuned.
We will be handing out Mob information during "Select a Seat" day on February 25th at Al Lang. Immediately afterwards we will be holding a membership drive party at Crowley's Downtown Grill & Bar on Central Ave in downtown St. Pete. Their website with address is here: http://www.crowleysdowntown.com/ All 2012 Mob gear is expected to be available by this date, so anyone who has pre-ordered so far should be able to pick up their member packs. If you haven't gotten yours yet, what are you waiting for! We have plenty more in the oven and will be announcing shortly. Stay tuned!
We will be giving away a Rowdies player jersey signed by Takuya Yamada at the home opener on April 14th. Everyone who signs up for a premium membership will be entered to win and the earlier you enter, the more entries you'll receive. www.ralphsmob.com for more information
All I have to say something's building: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p99a6K81zqM"]cake- comfort eagle - YouTube[/ame] I spent partying in St. Pete downtown for St. patty's , I saw at least 5 people with FC Tampa bay jerseys.
We've signed up our 100th and 101st premium members so far today. With a few weeks left before the home opener, I really feel that we are going to hit our goal of 200 for the season. http://www.ralphsmob.com/forum/topi...embers-for-the-2012-season?xg_source=activity
112 or 115, I'd have to double check. But we didn't hit that number until almost the end of the season.
Don't forget, this weekend's watch party for the Rowdies at Puerto Rico season opener is at Crowley's. http://www.facebook.com/events/310169372376917/
Some updates: At the last home game we hit 160 premium (paid) members and are now only 40 away from reaching our goal of 200 for the season. We are all pretty proud of how the Mob has grown and hopefully we keep rocking hard. Someone has to float this team, right? Also, big big big game tomorrow when the Strikers come to town. If you don't miss a game all season, make it this one. We are pregaming at Crowley's in downtown St. Pete and marching to the stadium around 6:45 pm. See you there! http://www.facebook.com/events/409743412387414/

The Mob were awesome last night! Looked like the largest amount of Mobster's to date. I'd guess at least 150 Mobster's. Well done Mob!
Thanks! It was more than that, but I'm not sure that was our biggest group. I think we had more at the home opener. We might have been louder last night, though.
Ralph's Mob had a GREAT turnout for the road-trip to FTL yesterday (June 2, 2012)...the bus was full! (then there were a LOT of ppl who drove themselves!!)
We as always do a great job. Let's see the Sticker Lickers fill a bus and come to ALF.... ...won't happen anytime soon.
Kudos to the MOB. They showed up in Championship Mode and gave an outstanding effort! I am a Mob member, but I sit across the stadium so I could see first hand the effect of the Mob on the "sold-out" crowd. "if you love the Rowdies; STAND UP" resulted in the entire stadium standing and cheering. The entire crowd would pick up on hand clapping rhythms even when they couldn't understand the words to the chants. "The crowd went crazy and were lead there by the crazy MOB" OUTSTANDING Fan club worthy of a Championship Team to cheer! Thank you Mob and Mob leadership!
The Mob was in full force for every game this season. I had the opportunity to sit on the field for the final and the mob sounded awesome. If you love the rowdies stand up chant has always been one of my favorite chants. God bless the mob!
Having grown up watching the original Rowdies, I love that we have a great supporters group in the Mob. I remember in the old NASL, the PA announcer leading cheers and then hired cheerleaders like Crazy George. It was fine for what it was, but the Mob is very organic and it really does provide a great atmosphere for a smaller crowd. I always hear postive comments from adults and kids alike about the Mob's enthusiasm. I remember the dark days of the APSL when there were simliar crowds to today and it was flat and lifeless. Contrast that to today. My hat is off to the Mob for being a standout feature of the game day experience. Hopefully the management can find ways to tap into that spirit and take this club to the next level.
we do the best we can and we're only going to get bigger and better. thanks for the kind words, you guys.
