Love this. Wish him well, it's a mature pov for someone his age, appears he learned from his last European experience.

In like 15-20 years I could see him taking a job like ours.

    Right now or soon?
    Not so much..

We should have him take penalties instead of Mina and Davinson.

Ever since he missed one against Alianza Lima in the Libertadores he pretty much has been money since.

Complete disaster for Frankfurt today. Eliminated in the first round of the Pokal Cup (German fa cup) by their local derby rival Manheim... from the 3rd division!

Didn't look from highlights like Borré was too involved, but that's a painful blow to start the season for them.

I just want to see if he can score without Gallardo.

Already forced an own goal (and probably would have scored otherwise). His press is disrupting BvB build up!

And just like that Haaland punishes Frankfurts press and creates two goals.

Borre not getting much service and wow, BvB could use a proper CB with some pace (how I wish they'd actually make the move for Lucumi!)

Tough second half for Borré had three great chances on goal and put each on frame, just (and this happens very rarely for BvB) great goalkeeping each time.

Played 86 mins in. Didn’t really do well. He seems to have trouble adapting the style of play.

    I expected this.
But to me his strengths are still being in the game, passing, positioning.
I have always seen him more of a setup man, secondary striker guy for us so not scoring does not concern me as much.

He can only do that stuff for us if he is playing regularly though and for that he needs to be scoring. He is such a great fit for Frankfurt's press... This is very frustrating.

Well, if he plays well for us in September I think he will get called up in October regardless of the goals.
    I could be wrong though.

He's expected to score at Frankfurt, this is the reason why they bought him after selling the Portuguese man Andre Silva.

The same expectation applies in yellow.

Yup. If he gets benched in Frankfurt, considering the options we have up front on the NT, he'll fall off radar again. I don't want to lose him.

I guess I have realistic expectations for him in yellow.
To me he is not really a 9.

Queiroz tried him there and he just did not look good.

Rueda on the other hand has had him play supporting striker and even Cuadrado's midfield spot.
He can be very useful to us without scoring goals.
