here you have a pic about the Japanese GK Eiji Kawashima showed in a French TV saying that he has 4 arms cause of the Nuclear Disaster of Fukushima last year
This should go in the UEFA and Europe section I think tomorrow he will wake up and be thinking he so sowwy about saying that. The French need something to take away attention from their loss to japan
Ok, keep calm. Is this surely REAL and not a fake? I meant: that image has a Kawashima with 4 arms ok, but until you link a video about the joke it's only a 4 armed Eiji, nothing more than a funny rappresentation of his amazing performance against France with those wonderful saves. I ask this cuz we must to be pedantic in serious case like this. Found:
It's not about some "joke" or whatever this is, it's about how this piece of sh1t "journalist" said it, that he was "contaminated" by the radiation from the nuclear disaster.
story is now on nikkei http://e.nikkei.com/e/fr/tnks/Nni20121016D16JF157.htm and kyodo http://english.kyodonews.jp/news/2012/10/188225.html
No, simply idiots' brain works something like "Oh, his name is kawaSHIMA than I can invent some joke/slogan/insult/etc with fukuSHIMA! Yeah I'm a genius!" That's all.
You are so brave to insult people via Twitter. The only simple minded people are the one making a fuss over a joke whether you find it funny or not. While some are showing their indignation because they have been told to, some others use their brain.
(Not entirely sure I understand what you wrote) but I don't think people affected by the disaster will agree with you.
Why do you care then? That so called "journalist" is a sc umbag, period. What he did was stupid and tasteless. Of course he showed some regret because that's what people do after doing something stupid, but it'd more easy for him to just stop doing stupid things and then have to apologize later.
You are the one insulting people on Twitter. I just heard that this joke made a fuss in Japan and found it beyond ridiculous. There is nothing racist or offending in it. Smart people are capable to put distance, not to take everything litterally . For your information, he said that the reactions are senseless and it's the TV channel he's working at that apologized. BTW, you were agreeing the complaints about the caricatures of Mohamed in Charlie Hebdo ? Given your reaction on this matter, you were since it shocked some muslims. A small community of people will not dictate what is decent or not when it comes to humor.
Again. Tell that to someone affected by the disaster. Even the smartest guy out of them would be pissed. As you say smart people might be able to distance from bad joke. But smarter people know not to say idiotic stuff like that. Besides, it's not comedy if it's not funny. And this was not funny anyway.
Do you know that the gk kawashima has friends and family affected by this terrible diaster?you think its right to joke about this when people are still suffering in fukushima because you lost a meaningless soccer match?its about showing respect and drawing a line on issues that you don't even have any idea about because you are not one of the victims.its got nothing to do with being smart or stupid.[/quote]
Well they may be many. I agree that there is nothing racist. Offending? Yeah. Oh, it surely made a fuss, and rightly so. That's why the Japanese embassy complained saying that those """jokes""" "hurt the feelings of people affected by the disaster" That's why big actors raised up. I'm glad French's Foreign Minister Fabius apologised directly, though. I appreciate it. Oh and Unknown, you should've added "it's a joke" after your insults, that way it should be ok.
