Only if the Supreme Court says so. And I'm sure they'd love to strike down IX. But they've other fish to fry first.
You know who you don't want near your kids education? Semi-fascists Matt Walsh advocates for the impregnation of girls as young as 16 because it's "technically when they're at their most fertile" in a newly unearthed rant about how teenage pregnancy isn't "the problem it's unwed pregnancy that's the problem in society" pic.twitter.com/SSoKLkfR3f— The Serfs (@theserfstv) October 5, 2022
Jane Austen would have said the same. By 19th century standards, Matt is mainstream and we are outliers. Then again, the same could be said about our respective views on women's suffrage.
I'm trying to imagine a 16 year-old couple trying to negotiate a 21st century modern world. But that isn't what these conservatives want anyhow. What they want is for some neckbeard dude in his 30s to have a 12-16 year-old wife. That's what they want.
What in the ever loving f*ck is a Matt Walsh and why the hell should anyone give a single crap about what this dipshit has to say*? Who cares about when a girl/young woman is most "fertile"? There is no shortage of fertility. This is NOT Gildead in the Handmaid's Tale. Yes, I actually listened to the full 2 minutes of this vomit. *Okay, I looked this guy up. Wow, he is incredibly stupid. Completely uneducated. Completely ignorant. And, of course, Completely arrogant. I watched the incredibly awful Official Trailer to his documentary "What Is a Woman?" These far right wing assholes are popping up all over the place, aren't they?
...not to mention, women owning property (first state in the US to allow it was Mississippi in 1839). women inheriting from their spouses and others. women working "outside" the home (not as "barmaids" or "prostitutes").
I too listened to this short excerpt he mentions the age of 16 at about 36 seconds in different context he mentions the "technically when they're at their most fertile" at about 1 minute 3 seconds and he says at age 17 to 24 girls are "technically when they're at their most fertile" so once again you read something that was not true (a deliberate lie, even) and got upset
Yes - former GOP congressman Denver Riggleman has given fascinating and frankly alarming interviews on this topic. Because he officiated a gay wedding at his brewery, he was denounced as a pedo and driven out of the GOP - essentially by a small faction of GQP nutters - but it is these people who control the local parties.
The Natcons openly campaign for a return to traditional family structure where the woman doesn't work and supports the man on the domestic front. The claim this is all common sense but you just aren't allowed to say it these days
Dude advocates neo-nazi conspiracy theories just like Tucker You wanna defend that, have at it I don't really care whether you want to call him neo-nazi, alt-right, theocratic fascist ...
I already did - he promotes White Replacement Theory which is a neo nazi conspiracy - if you want the evidence for that, you can check Karl's Tucker thread. I am not posting it all over again for the sake of this goon. Or we can just agree that the guy calls himself a fascist.
AL senator doing some racism A reminder that Tommy Tuberville was a collegiate coach for nearly 30 years, during which he coached scores of Black players. He made millions off their abilities, but here’s what he really thinks about Black folks. https://t.co/aFjqocLTNH— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) October 9, 2022
