Your bro any good at sweeper? Good to have you back Bolton, the forwards ran their butts of this past week, but unfortunately had nothing to show for it... so wear your golden boots
With Jeff out... George can you make it this week? If so a possible travis, george, Joel and myself at D. Corey can head up the middle again, since he is able to make it. Usual suspects for the outside mids... Pizzo, Bolton, Kevin, Dan splitting time up front Is Joe back this week? Injury report, anyone?
the team cap'n will have to sort things out with him being a 'guest player' and all. i don't know how that works exactly. wow, i totally got lost in the mix there. guess i suck that bad, huh?
Well we have our usuals that sub in and out at midfield... that is where we need the most rest. We also need to fill the hole that Mr. Jeff left because someone had to work... work is for suckers Jeff SUCKERS
1. Thanks for filling in my post Dave haha. 2. Work is definitely for suckers. 3. Good to see Coreys coming back since he helped a lot in the MF, let not hope his younger brother takes over the sweeper spot We need to make sure we start out games going uphill, I felt like I was driving ball up a ski slope on goal kicks in the second half the other day.
The umbrella term "usual suspects" was reserved for the venerable midfielders I can split time between mid and def, wherever we need bodies... I think the big question is who can take over on goal kicks? I've got a decent foot and can take some if I'm back there, but my quad tends to tighten up after a few so it's not very reliable...
im tellin you my little brother is very good...i can admit that my little bro is better than me...he can play in the back
Hey just a thought... We have extra patches right? Should we be using the casa league games to spread the word. I know I have explained who we were to opposing players during the game. Maybe we could share a couple patches with opposing teams.
I really wish I could be there this weekend. But I'm pretty sure I've seen alot of these guys play. They are pretty good, they communicate well (in Polish) so be on your toes. They also spread the field so the midfielders have to get back and help. Oh and they play a Thursday pick up game at Penn Academy, how bout we send a spy.
I was asking about this over in the practice thread, did anyone end up going? I know there was some talk about it a few weeks ago, did it work out/anyone still go?
Well if anyone goes again I wouldn't mind, let me know... Yeah Sunday nights no good for me either, sorry
Comly and Thorton road. On comly between Academy and The boulevard. Across the street from Flyers Skate Zone. 7:55 pm.
Due to low interest and the similarity between the two events I've decided to cancel the picnic and just go with the tailgate between the CASA game and the UPenn game. Email me if you want to go and haven't emailed me yet: mark.dunfee@sonsofben.com
