    Unfortunately, one of his problems is that he doesn't keep a straight face. Grinning flapping gimboid that he is.

    Does anyone have updates regarding Davids modeling career, any contracts in the pipeline any chance of a new hairstyle sometime soon?

    Seriously though after James' performance on the recent tour of States where he seemed to experience problems picking up a stationary ball surely it was time for Erickson to cut his losses, maybe Sven fancies him he's a good looking lad after all.

    Sven has to go..so what if the WC is next summer..get some guy who understands the game not the politics.
    The keeper has to go as well. He never was a number one. Let him keep Rio company at the hairDressers. Someone should remind Rio that he has a job to do out there.
    We idolize and adore these players and they continue to let us down. Get some players who want to "play" for the country, not just show up for the photo ops.
    You can cover a ton of embarracement with a ton of cash which these guys have by the yards.

    yep ,the press are the first ones to create crazy hype and always the first ones to stick the knife in if the team doesnt live up to that same hype that they created.
    just a bunch of ex public school w@nkers who wanna sell papers and dont really know much about anything sports related.

    should be sven and david james who get hammered the most though.
    Those two numpties engineered this whole debacle.

    Sven seems repentant (the 1st time) which is a good sign. But this result was only a matter of time.

    Of course it was. There have been other games which would should have lost, but got lucky. I could moan about a perfectly good Rooney goal being disallowed, a penalty not being given, and Ashley Cole being flaged for off side in the dying moments despite clearly being on, but I won't. We were shambolic. I'm glad we were shown up.

    We'll never win anything under Sven, he is a loser. Like a Swedish version of Houllier. This is probably the best squad of players we've had in God knows how long, and it will all go to waste next Summer in the WC - if we qualify, which I'm not that confident of. Then after 2006, we'll be aiming for 2010 or whatever, and when that comes around, we'll still win ******** all.

    It's time for Sven to go before he makes things even worse.

    I quote myself. At least my team is balanced, works to our strengths and lessens our weaknesses.

    All we need now is Phil Thompson on the side lines shouting ******** off at the Ref every couple of minutes, and Heskey to be brought back and we are basically all set to be the International version of Liverpool from a couple of years ago.

    Winces of Denmark. That was a nice one that made me laugh...:)

    Which I thought was a nice Shakespeare reference in the circumstances.

    If they were going down that route, I would have gone with;

    'Asses are made to bear and so is this steaming pile of cack….'

    Or the rather quaint poignancy about the performance last night;

    'We are such stuff as nightmares are made on…'

    Or the much maligned David James sonnet XVIII;

    Should I compare thee to a retarded clown?
    Thou art more moronic and costly pay.
    Crap keeping doth pull the team down,
    And your chances hath all gone astray.
    Sometimes too hot the blood of head shine,
    And often your complexion is never dimmed;
    And every save and save sometimes decline,
    By chance, or nature’s changing course untrimmed,
    But this damned summer shall not fade
    Nor lose suffering and pain that thou ow’st;
    Nor shall peaceful life wand’rest in your shade,
    When in Germany give us time to grow’st,
    So as long as Sven can breathe or we can't see,
    Forever putting up with your gimmicks shall we.
