What's up with the Sidebar? I have to attend a conference in Balto on Friday ("How Ta' Eat Yer Crabs Hon and It's Implications on Employment Law") and a friend recommended meeting there afterwords. It appears to be primarily a music venue, which is not my preference (ironic to some I'm sure). So is it a decent hang. Good beer?

I'll probably end up at the Wharf Rat and Brewers Art because that's what I always do and it works but any thoughts on Sidebar would be appreciated.

The Sidebar is a daytime haunt for lawyers and a nighttime hardcore club.
I haven't been there in years but I would probably hit the Wharf Rat or Brewer's Art. They never dissapoint.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds a bit like the old Hung Jury here in DC. As fate would have it my oldest daughter is sick so I probably won't be going any way. Man I miss that BA happy hour.

Daughter was doing better so I did the HH at BA. The house brewed Beacon and Proletary are dynamite, even better than when ODBC were doing them.

Proletary is my fave. Sorry I didn't read this until now, I would have tried to join you for a glass.

Now worries, I'll need to be heading up to B'awmr to deal with some unfinished business (at the beer halls up there).

That sort of work is never finished.
