Hello, I am going to Manchester next weekend for the derby (won a trip) and since I am so close to Preston/Leeds/etc, I am thinking about taking a train from Manchester to Preston on Saturday to see Leeds play them. I have a couple of questions... 1) How long is a train from Manchester to Preston? How much is the train? 2) How much would 2 tickets cost for the game? 3) What else is there to do in Preston besides the game? Thanks for any help you can provide me with. -Eddie
1) Between 45-55 minutes each way and costs between £7.40 and £11.00 round trip 2) Tickets cost about £18 each. Further info found here: http://www.pnefc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10362,00.html 3) Lots of pubs in the area of the stadium, and the National Football Museum is at the stadium as well. http://www.nationalfootballmuseum.com/
