So I've decided to provide this chat room for future play-by-play... and also if people just want to go there to discuss Quakes-related things in "real time". http://www.johnmark.org/equakes/ Word of warning: I don't know why, but IE6 users seem to hang, even if it uses the same Java plugin as Netscape, which works fine. I will continue to investigate the matter, but I just wanted to warn you should I not be able to solve the problem. Then again, maybe I can get everyone to switch to Netscape or Mozilla or Konqueror :-D
