In the FIFA forum they mentioned there will be a lot more places to stay than what is being reported in that tweet. There will be Cruise ships ported, and some not ported that you will have to take water taxis to land. There will be floating hotels that pop up on the coast too. There will apparently be apartment complexes that will be available to rent. The State is also doing a program which is like exchange students staying at people's houses and those people getting some sort of incentives. Also desert Camps (I kid you not) that will give you an exotic camping tent experience of the middle east. So that may help but it still seems like it is going to be way too crowded and a disaster.

Jesus christ and here I assumed that a wealthy country like Qatar would be better prepared...even I think the USA will host the world cup signfically better than them come 2026...same with Canada and Mexico who are co-hosts...
USA is a mafia that cries that everyone else is a mafia…. Mexico hosted 2x(1 was our fk up and us in 94) 94 was 7 world cups ago!!! So they can’t wait for a few other countries to host? They go no fk that we have immigrants that we don’t like so we should host every time like the gold cup
If circumstances are good I will go to Qatar to support Colombia. But then again we don't know how the rest of the year will go since this thing is in November.
