If Granit Xhaka got a Qatari passport, would you spontaneously explode?

Hey if he wanted to play for them, power to him, some people like to buy a fixer-upper.

Someone's going to pay 100m for Gakpo, aren't they?

Gakpo with an absolute rocket against Ecuador. Adding zeros to his transfer fee.

Scored early but the Dutch haven't done much since. Actually more surprised if Ecuador don't win considering they have had the better chances.

Not good that Valencia has gone off injured though.

Especially when he’s got an incredibly punchable face.

US were excellent everywhere except in the final third. 0-0 speaks to that. Good result though.

My boy Tyler totally bossed the MF. And Weston & Younas weren't far behind. I think those 3 should sleep very well tonight, knowing that they owned England.

Forget Rice, Bellingham.....Musah was the best midfielder on show.

i can sort of understand it. he doesn't feel like a classical skilled brazillian player. he's a hustler/battler and a hell of a physical specimen. i enjoyed watching him play for everton and coming up with weird out-of-the-blue plays but i never wanted him with us because he can be a petulant child. and, like @Tonerl said, he does have a mighty punchable face.

i'm mainly sad that i can't really root for him anymore because he plays for spurs.

Our cigarette smoking ex goalkeeper produced a stunning double save on a penalty and rebound shot in Poland’s victory over KSA this morning to bail out another former Arsenal player Krystian Bielik, who brought a Saudi player down in the box. I always got a kick out of Szczeny.

Szczesny has certainly established himself as a solid keeper. Has matured a lot. I like to think playing behind Gigi at Juventus for a year or so had a ton to do with that. Good for him.

Every match seems to have Arsenal or ex Arsenal players in it. Today we have Tomiyasu on the bench who won't play due to injury, and against him we have ex Arsenal legend Joel Campbell who I totally forgot plays for Costa Rica.
