Women’s Professional Soccer will today announce a deal with German shoe manufacturer and clothing retailer Puma, according to the Wall Street Journal. The three-year deal calls for Puma to pay roughly $10 million to become the official equipment supplier to WPS, the Journal says, citing people with knowledge of the agreement. That means that if players in the seven-team league don’t have existing deals with other cleat makers, they will wear Pumas during WPS games. It is the first of three deals the league hopes to announce before the season kicks off in April. Link
This is a pretty good deal for them and I think they will get good kits. I like the one's they did for the Chicago Fire.
