Damn. Tolima just got eliminated from Sudamericana on an away gol. They played a great game though. Campaz was at the center of pretty much everything they did. He scored and he was practically omnipresent on the pitch. He got a little selfish at times, but he's got big stage charisma to him.
I just caught the 1st leg but one has to be pretty disappointed that Colombia's current table leader can't close out their match against a small team with little international experience. Shame what's been going on with our clubs on the international stage.
For those that watch Colombia league games, what do you think of these rising stars? Kudos to Simon for being a voice for Colombian futbol 1326594542896812038 is not a valid tweet id
I 100% agree with the first 2. Campaz is electric right now. Guzman plays like a veteran 10. Colorado is pretty good, but I think there are few decent DMs in FPC. Not sure if I'd say he is the best. Watched Paz' most recent match, and the kid does look very talented...
Jokes aside, that's a legitimate fear I have for both of them. Campaz can easily become the next Dorlan Pabon if he's not managed properly. I'll blame Quieroz if, by next summer, Tolima accept a Mexican club's offer highest offer. Luckily he made some buzz in the couple Libertadores/Sudamericana matches Tolima played, but the kid needs international exposure. Honestly, Guzman probably will suffer the same fate as Alejandro Chumacero. The Mexican league is the only one that'll dish any sort of money on players of their size, unfortunately. Reyes could've made a difference for him by bringing him to the preolimpico. I'm crossing my fingers an Argentine club takes a chance on him. They at least still have some love for 10s.
I am more worried MLS in all honesty than Mexico. At least Mexico is competive but then you get put in that slave draft they do for unwanted players
Even MLS wouldn't go for Guzman. He's too small and slow. Campaz has enough under his belt at a young age where Tolima would demand more than they'll offer. And the kid has too big of an estimation of himself to accept an offer to MLS, I think.
Dylan Borrero is starting his first game for Mineiro today. He played a few matches under Dudamel at the beginning of the year, but he's gone through a long process earning Sampaoli's trust. The kid is a mediapunta/10...but he's playing as the lone DM today! And he's not doing bad.
I forgot or i never knew that he went to brasil...hope he debut soon with profesional team FIM DE JOGO!!Inter vence Corinthians por 2x1 fora de casa, pelo Brasileirão sub-20.⚽ Andrés Amaya (2x)🅰️ Matheus Cadorini (@cadorini9) e Jonathan.#CeleiroDeAseshttps://t.co/o0kGWB9Ck3— Dᴀɴɪᴇʟ Bᴏʀɢᴇs ˢᶜᶦ (@daniel_sci) December 6, 2020
We had a big recent crop of kids who went to Brazil over the past year or so, and I'm annoyed by it. Can't remember the last Colombian kid who worked his up to a first team. Actually, has there ever been one? I attribute the little success Borrero has had to the fact Dudamel was coaching Mineiro when he got there.
anyone know anything about this guy? russian fella #SudamericanoSub17🏆 - “Elegiría a la #Selección Colombia🇨🇴”: Alexei Rojas ▶️ https://t.co/QRTMoxv50g— Golombianos (@Golombianos) December 15, 2020
haha he looks like a Fifa Create a player haha. A Russian/English Colombian. Nice he is a gk... hope he turns out to be good. We need something post Ospina.
You guys remember Juan Pablo Ramirez, kid who played for Nacional and the 2017 sub 20? The kid signed for Bahia in Brazil a few weeks ago. AND he's been his team's best player the past couple matches, scoring gols against Flamengo and, today, Internacional! Crazy. For whatever reason, he hadn't played a single match in Colombia for over a year. I remember being pretty disappointed at his lack of progress.
