OK guys, Sam's Army has put their tickets on sale. Any word on a pro-Mexico area and where to get tickets?
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus Mexican Federation has been given a decent chunk of tickets in the south stands. You may wanna contact them.
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus Either that or I could just get a Sam's Army ticket and infiltrate.
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus Just make sure you tell them you are Mr. Smith or they may not sell you a ticket.
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus Why are you going to do something about it?
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus Just saying that getting tickets in the middle of several sections full of rival supporters might not be the smartest idea in the world. Especially when they've been drinking all day in anticipation of the 7:30 kickoff.
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus Bah, at the USA vs. Mexico cotton bowl friendly last year I proudly wore my US nats jersey and sat amongst a sea of el tri fans and not once did I feel threatened. I'm confident that any el tri fan will feel the same way I did for the Columbus game.
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus That wasn't a WCQ. And it wasn't in the (borderline) northeast.
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus Uncle Sams army is cool as all ********. I sat right below them in the Nike Cup a few years back when the U.S. played Mexico. It's not like this is South America. I mean what are they gonna do? Heckle you a bit?
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus I don't know where you get this belief that U.S. soccer fans are tough. Everywhere I have been they are not. They seem pretty grateful when a large contingent of football fans get together and add to thier experience.
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus Trust me. Very few US fans are going to be "grateful" about a Mexican fan trying to set up in the middle of the supporters section for this one. Most US fans won't give you any problems but there are some who will. Friendlies, Nike Cup, etc. are completely different, as are games held in more, shall we say, "mellow" parts of the country. As are games against teams like Trinidad, Panama, and Barbados. I'd suggest you call up the FMF, they'll have some seats for you. Do whatever you want to do. I'm just giving you fair warning.
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus Yeah right tough guys. None of these guys look like they can push 285lbs. I'm aware of the flag pant tough guy, but that guys looks rather weak.
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus Exactly what I'm talking about. They're nice as hell but not tough at all. I mean who cares though? Why should that be a bad thing? Soccer isn't as big here as it is everywhere else. But I've been warned!!!

Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus You can also order tickets from the US soccer federation here. http://www.ussoccer.com/events/report.sps?iEventID=17141&eventreports=6332
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus I'd be more afraid of that fat b!tch on the left!
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus If I were you guys I would stay away from ordering through MLS- you have to buy tickets to the All-Star game as well. The other sources are better. I think it will be fun to have some Mexican cuates in the section - I say bring your Mexican gear and a tag with your bigsoccer name so we can meet and know whom is whom
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus Should could have a piece in that fannie pack.
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus Well there's a pic of 7 tame-looking US fans, that proves that you won't have any problems cheering for Mexico amidst a section of several thousand US fans. That pic looks like it wasn't even taken right before or after game...judging by the background and the gear people are wearing (2 '98 jerseys--hardly anyone still wears those except me--and a bunch of scarves and t-shirts that haven't been sold in years) I'd say it was taken in France at the '98 WC. In other words, before the stadium that the US-Mexico game will be played at was even built... As I said you'll probably be OK, most US fans aren't going to bother starting sh/t when we're up 2-0 by the 20-minute mark and end up winning 3-0. But you never know.
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus Get over it, you crew ain't tough. This is not a bad thing, but don't make phony threats over the net.
Re: Tickets for Mexico/Barras y Estrellas WCQ in Columbus That guy, last one, starting from left to right, on the top pic, is going to kick our ass. Poor guy, he will die of a heart attack whenever he throws the first punch
